WELLNESS CORNER by Sue Hoeffner
Our TLC Blood Drive is coming! Wednesday, February 25, 1-7 p.m. In Memorial Chapel.
Please mark your calendar! Our community’s blood center, the Oregon & SW Washington Blood Program, helps ensure a stable blood sup-ply for you, your family, neighbors, and friends. Each blood donation can save up to three lives! The entire process takes less than an hour from start to finish, including time to relax with cookies and juice after donating. There are very few restrictions to donating blood. If you have a question regarding your eligibility, either ask Sue, call the Blood Pro-gram at 800-DONATE-1, ext. 2543, or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org. There is no upper age limit for donors. Students ages 16-17 may donate with parental permission.
Sign up on the schedule posted on the library door off the narthex or call Sue in the Parish Nurse office at 696-1221, ext. 28. Many thanks to our faithful, dedicated donors! We hope YOU will consider giving this precious gift of life too!
