Day Camp Wrap Up:

This year we had a fabulous week of Day Camp, which ran incredibly smoothly, thanks to all the efforts of our outstanding volunteer staff! Too many to name, but you know who you are, and we thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! We had 72 children attend this year, and it was wonderful. Whether we are serving 72 children or 127 or 12, it is a magical week here at Trinity. THANK YOU for being part of it, whether you supported it through prayer, painting, prep of food, or parading with kids. It was a terrific week!

Important Dates this Fall for Families:

September 10 — Another parenting class: Parenting the Love and Logic WayTM! 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays. This 6-week parenting course will provide you with valuable techniques for your parenting tool box, helping you to raise responsible children.

September 13 — Rally Sunday! Directly after the service — also the day we return to a 10:30 a.m. Worship time. Register for Sunday School, meet your teacher, play games, pizza, and ice cream! Good times!

September 20 — First Day of Sunday School! Welcome back! 9:30 Open in Stolee Hall. 9:45-10:20 Sunday School education.

September 27 — Trinity’s 75th Anniversary Celebration! Join us for a reunion of former pastors, staff, and all of TLC as we recognize the founding of Trinity, seventy-five years ago. Don’t forget to register your attendance for the celebratory meal that will be served in the Sanctuary that day.

October 4 — JAMer Parent + Child Planning event at Big Al’s Bowling. [4th and 5th grades] We will meet at Big Al’s at 1:00 for pizza and bowling, as well as some planning for the years’ activities. JAMers is kind of the pre-youth group. A time when kids can get together outside of church just to have fun and get to know one another — as well as hopefully bond a bit before those often challenging Middle School years.
