TKC serves families in the Lincoln neighborhood and beyond who may need a place for their children to hang out, on the early release Mondays of the school year. And TKC is not meant to be a mere hangout. We are growing friendships, having fun and goofy time with one another, and building meaning into the lives of a bunch of great kids.
Since the beginning of the school year, we have centered our club days around the 9 fruits of the Spirit, those ways of being that are created in us by virtue of our being in Christ–love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We bounce around Stolee Hall playing rambunctious games, eat snacks, sit for Bible stories, work on craft projects and some- times get involved in service projects, science experiments, math or geography activities.
TKC is a collaborative effort and takes many hands to fulfill our commitment. If you would like to get involved, even if just for one time, contact one of the leaders… Sue Pershall, Sue Pechacek, Peggy Winston, Laurie Mudge, Brian Brown, Pastor Ruth.
