We will tour the Washington School for the Blind. Superintendent Dean Stenehjem (a member here at Trinity) will share the history of this school built in 1889 before Washington was a state. And he will bring us up to date on the wonderful new opportunities now available for teaching blind children. And we will see their museum built especially for the blind. Most of you probably know, Trinity has had a long connection with the school. A former Superintendent now passed on, was Byron Berhow another active member here at Trinity. And our own Joanie Delzer is a graduate of the school. After our tour, we will stop by the Dairy Queen on Main Street (also an historic building) to purchase lunch for those who wish then go to church to eat together. Meet at 9:30 am on Friday, April 29.
