Discipleship

Discipleship

Christian Education is at the very heart of the church. In the educational process the Spirit of God encounters people of all ages so that they are nurtured in faith, grow in knowledge and experience, and are inspired and empowered to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. This call to discipleship compels us to share our faith and serve others in the home, the community, and in God’s world.

If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32 (KJF)

Children’s Sunday School

We begin in Stolee Hall for our Sunday School Open. There’s singing, birthday celebrations, and announcements before heading off to Sunday School, which concludes before Worship services start.

Our Sunday School teaching staff is a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to teaching and to sharing God’s word with children. Our curriculum is Growing in Christ and it follows the same liturgical calendar used by the rest of the church.
