Yet, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; and we are all the work of Your hand, Isaiah 64:8
This Lent, beginning on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10th, Trinity invites you to come and be a part of our midweek worship. We will be having some of our members as cast of weekly dramas with the theme, “The Potter and Me.” We will also be using our Holden Evening liturgy as our worship format.
Worship will start at 7 pm on Wednesdays from Feb 10- March 16. We are planning Soup Dinners prior to worship at 6 pm. Confirmation Classes will be shortened beginning at 6:30 – 7 pm. (Please see the detailed schedule of events)
What is Lent? Even for those of us who have participated in Lenten seasons since infancy there are many ways to answer the question. Most answers gravitate to the central thought that it is a time of reflection on our discipleship as followers of Christ.
But the center is that it is a time to reflect on why Christ suffered “for me.”
To most who have experienced Lenten devotions, dramas, sermons, worship, music; the time has a special simplicity and beauty that is unmatched in other seasons. Strangely, because of its Christ-centeredness, it is not dark but light. The Light shines out of the Cross.
Come and bring your little ones, bring your friends and family, to experience the wonder of this time to see our Lord Jesus truly for us in all its raw and beautiful power and depth.
Together, let us worship our King and Redeemer, and grow in His Love!
