The Trinity Congregation Council has called a special congregational meeting on Sunday, March 6, 2016 in the sanctuary immediately after worship. The business to be conducted is the consideration of a proposal from Verizon Wireless to add cellular antenna to Trinity’s bell tower and make related structural changes to TLC facilities in exchange for a monthly rent paid by Verizon to TLC of $3,600 per month. Verizon has met with members of TLC Council and have conducted preliminary engineering, provided architectural drawings, and provided photo-simulations to show precisely what impact the required changes would have upon TLC facilities. The purpose of the congregational meeting is to approve or reject Verizon’s proposal and, if approved, empower the Council to negotiate a contract to execute the work.
Additional information will be provided at worship on Sunday, February 21st and 28th in preparation for the congregational meeting on March 6th.
Yours in Christ,
Mike Haas, TLC Congregation President
