Vacation Bible School – August 5th – 9th, 2024

Youth

Middle School – The youth meet on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday nights every week during the school year. Sunday mornings are focused on Bible learning, and some of our youth volunteer with CORE (our kid’s group). Wednesday evenings are focused on relationship building and are a great place to try for the first time. Our group plays games around the entire building, has a Bible Study, dinner, and more.

Each summer, we attend Camp Lutherwood’s “Confirmation Camp,” which is a highlight for everyone. Rock climbing, creek walking, archery, Bible learning, swimming pool, and so much more! Ask for more info.

We plan at least one youth activity each month as well. Some examples include Lock-ins, bowling, an annual pumpkin patch trip, service opportunities, events with other local churches, etc.

High School

The High School youth meet on Sunday mornings each week and every other week on Sunday nights. Sunday mornings are focused on Bible learning, and some of our youth volunteer with CORE (our kid’s group). Sunday evenings are focused on relationship building and are a great place to try for the first time. We play games around the entire building, have a Bible Study, and more.

Our high school youth plan a mission trip or attend the ELCA National Youth Gathering each summer. Our mission trips rotate between in and out of the country and the National Gathering is every three years. The mission trips are a can’t miss experience for any youth!

We also plan at least one youth activity each month. Some examples include Lock-ins, an annual pumpkin patch trip, service opportunities, events with other local churches, etc.
