Working with the Family Community Resource Coordinators and faculty at these schools, Trinity members provide basic material needs as well as mentoring/relational needs.
Lincoln Partnership
Since its beginning in 1999, the Partnership has operated under the mission statement…
to increase interactions between Lincoln students, families and staff and Trinity members so as to enhance the greater Lincoln community.
Representatives of Lincoln Elementary School and Trinity as well as All Saints Episcopal church meet monthly during the school year to plan and implement a busy and varied schedule of activities. These activities include but are not limited to Thanksgiving Food baskets, Christmas Giving Tree, School Supply drive, Read-a-Thon, Fifth Grade Farewell flowers, craft nights or enrichment fairs, hosting classes at the church for entertainment and sharing of student successes, etc.
Discovery Partnership
Trinity supports the Discovery Middle School by providing clothing to the Family Resource Center at Discovery and providing food assistance and cooking classes.
Trinity Kids’ Club
Trinity also runs an afterschool program at the church on early release Mondays during the school year (Trinity Kids’ Club) to provide Kindergarten through Fifth grade students a place to build community, to have fun with games, Bible story, crafts and snacks, and to provide parents with a safe option for their kids on these Mondays. This program relies heavily on cooperative efforts between Trinity and the Lincoln School staff. Trinity Kids’ Club is open to all kids K-5th grade, not only Lincoln Elementary kids. There is no charge.
